About us

Svane Shipping is one of the oldest shipping companies in Denmark. A solid family company and a reliable total supplier of shipping services founded in 1926. Our tradition of strong relations and long-standing customer relationships are built on good, old-fashioned virtues such as mutual trust, good order and respect.

We have strong roots at the Port of Kolding, where our 63,000 m² of warehouses and terminals are located. Furthermore we have a 10.000m2 terminal situated at the Port of Køge. Our dedicated staff provides us with expertise in general cargo, project cargo and all kinds of bulk cargo.

Svane Shipping has subsidiaries and associated companies in England, Poland and Latvia. This constitutes the foundation stones of our international network, which enables us to offer safe and secure transport around the world.

We have adopted the designation “a total provider” very literally. It means that we manage everything from chartering and ship clearance, through stevedoring and terminal solutions, to freight forwarding.
